A few steps, in Amalfi the distances are short, and here is the Porch Little Marine with the Porta della Marina, the ancient Door de Sandala which was the medieval access to the center, in an area then occupied by shops of shoemakers.
In one of those shops the small church of St. Mary of the Audience was founded in the 15th century, now Chiesa di Santa Maria in Piazza, property of the arch-confraternity of sailors and fishermen, where a byzantine painting of the Black Madonna and a wooden statue of the Madonna of Portosalvo can be admired .
