The history of this company is naturally intertwined with the vicissitudes of a family that proudly guided it for five generations.
Founded in 1830 by Andrea Pansa, the pastry shop has kept unchanged the charm transmitted by the 19th century furnitures keeping the smell of the essence of the Fathers, among those gilded mirrors that still reflect the images of famous people such as Ibsen, Wagner, Longfellow and Quasimodo, below the elongated cruises legacy of past glories.
In the February 2001 Pansa received the prestigious acknowledgment of entering the register of the cultural association of Historical Places of Italy, because it is rightly considered one of the oldest environments of production and tasting of desserts in the Amalfitan region.

Beverage artisans
Our strong artisan vocation also finds fertile ground in the beverage segment: the hot chocolate assembled by Andrea Pansa, our almond milk, the tea list set up by selecting the best "gardens" strictly in whole leaves and finally the lemon granita, for which preparation our barmen use exclusively the fruits of the family farm.
Chocolate and ice cream
Andrea Pansa’s Chocolate and the proposals of the ice creams are the synthesis of a very strict selection of raw materials combined with an exclusively artisanal production process. The choice of the finest cocoa with some of the most prestigious crus such as Macae and Cuor di Guanaya, IGP lemons from the family farm, Bronte DOP pistachio, IGP hazelnut from Giffoni and much more.
Historical premises of Italy
The Association of Historical premises of Italy represents about 250 realities operating on the national territory, divided respectively into cafes, pastry shops, confectioners, hotels and restaurants.
The Membership of this association is strictly subordinate to the ability to pass on and safeguard the existence of relics and furnishings from other times and, where possible, to certify the passage and the stop of characters who have distinguished themselves over the centuries in the artistic-cultural field. The premises obtaining the right to belong to the Association, are fully esteemed as '' Hospitality Museums '' and represent little gems set in the beauties and artistic and environmental assets of the most famous touristic places in Italy.
